What a wonderful restful stay! A beautiful cottage close to Aberaeron, where the restaurants etc are wonderful. We loved the few days we spent here and can't wait to go back!

Thank you Carys we were very impressed with the well equipped cottage and had a lovely welcome from the owner who had baked bara brith and had provided other provisions for us on arrival.
The cottage was clean and thrilled to stay there whilst we travelled around the beautiful coast line around Ceredigion. Would recommend this cottage we stayed with three children and they loved it.

Had a fab time .. gorgeous cottage and Carys the owner is lovely, enjoyed the company of Sam the sheepdog , we will return

We spent a lovely week in Plas Bach. We have stayed in different cottages over 10+ years but this one was the best! Carys was friendly and welcoming, she added little touches like a vase of flowers, fresh bread, milk etc that were appreciated and gave this property 5 stars all round. Can't wait to visit again!

Surrounding Area

Aberaeron is a beautiful Georgian town designed around the harbour with houses of striking colours which is enhanced by their unique architecture. It offers a range of boutique shops, cafes, and a wide variety of restaurants. The town also offers interesting riverside and coastal walking paths, including a cycle / walk path to Llanerchaeron, a National Trust 18th century Welsh gentry estate, with the house and gardens designed by John Nash. Children can enjoy the parks, swimming pool, leisure centre, tennis courts and a Go-Cart centre less than a mile from the cottage.

Further South you'll stumble across the picturesque holiday destination of New Quay. With several restaurants, pubs and shops situated above the blue waters of Cardigan Bay this is well worth the visit when travelling to West Wales. A hot spot tourist destination during the summer months the vibrant holiday resort boasts dolphin spotting boat trips along with Blue Flag and Seaside winning beaches and watersports.
